COMMUNITY OUTREACH SUPPORT STAFF - (FULL-TIME/PART-TIME)
We are looking to hire a full-time/part-time employee to assist in meeting the physical needs of our neighbors through events and programs, building relationships that will introduce/reconnect individuals to Christ and help them navigate through life. This individual will work directly with the Community Engagement Coordinator in the Equip program and report to the Director.
Responsibilities would include but are not limited to; helping to develop, plan, and execute events for our community and school families, working with individuals one-on-one as well as in various group settings, educating others in life skills, helping them to set goals, and encouraging them to reach them.
Candidates must either have college experience (preferably in Theology, Social Work, or Education) or 2-4 years of experience in outreach ministry, preferably in an urban setting. Hospitality/culinary background also preferred. The ideal candidate would be a mature Christian who loves Christ, is compassionate, and has a heart for ministering to the poor. This individual would be personable, enjoy working with people, and be comfortable working in an urban environment – canvasing a 3 block radius on foot. Necessary skills include excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, as well as basic computer/office skills, detail-oriented, creative, and hospitable. Valid Driver’s License a must.
YOUTH PROGRAMMING ADMIN & PROGRAM SUPPORT STAFF (FULL-TIME)
We are looking to hire a full-time employee to provide general office and administrative support for our programs, and help plan, facilitate, and support Youth Programming activities here at the Mission. This individual will report to the Youth Programs coordinator and work directly with the children living in our Joy House shelter as well as students enrolled at Cross Trainers Academy and others in the community in developing them to achieve their potential academically, socially, and spiritually in fostering a gospel centered environment.
Primary responsibilities include creating, distributing, and tracking program registration and attendance, answering phone calls in the YP office, parent communication, managing van routes and student pick up/drop off. In keeping an organized and clean office area, the individual will perform other administrative tasks as needed, proactively invest in relationships with program students, support Youth Center and Joy House Childcare activities, and provide seasonal support for community outreach events (Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc.).
Candidates must have previous office administrative experience as well as experience in children’s or youth ministry at a church. They must be detail-oriented and highly organized, a good communicator, culturally competent, flexible, passionate about youth and ministry, proficient with Microsoft Office software, and work well under pressure. Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours, have a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable driving a 15-passanger van.
A College degree is preferred.

We are looking to hire a full-time/part-time employee to join our Youth Programming team to help plan, facilitate, and support our YP activities here at the Mission. This individual will work directly with the children living in our Joy House shelter as well as students enrolled at Cross Trainers Academy and other students in the community in inspiring them through the gospel to achieve their academic, social, and spiritual potential.
Responsibilities include planning and supporting Youth Center and Joy House Childcare activities, proactively investing in relationships with program students, managing student behavior issues according to YP discipline process, creatively find ways to keep students engaged and participating, transport students from school to the MRM campus, and provide seasonal support for community outreach events (Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc.).
Candidates must have previous experience in children’s or youth ministry at a church. They must be passionate about youth and ministry, a flexible team player, a good communicator, culturally competent, organized, and work well under pressure. Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours (full and part time positions available), have a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable driving a 15-passanger van.
A College degree is preferred.
