Child Enrichment Center Employment Opportunities


The Milwaukee Rescue Mission Child Enrichment Center is seeking teachers who are motivated, dedicated and passionate about early childhood education.  We have two full-time (roughly 8am-4pm) and one part-time (roughly 1pm-6pm) lead teacher positions available.   Lead teachers are responsible for creating and implementing age appropriate lesson plans, monitoring and documenting growth and development, communicating effectively with students and parents, classroom management and maintaining a clean and organized classroom. Candidates must meet all DCF guidelines and maintain a current registry level of 9 or higher. Pay is competitive and based on experience and education.  Starting pay range for level 9-level 16 is $11.25-$15.00 with additional pay based on years of experience.   The Milwaukee Rescue Mission is a Christian organization hiring Christians who can meet the organization’s employment qualifications.  Resumes indicating relevant experience and education are appreciated.


Assistant teachers are responsible for assisting with lesson plan development and implementation, maintaining a clean and organized room, family communication and classroom management.  Other center-wide responsibilities such as lunch set up, cleaning dishes or light housekeeping may be necessary as well.

Assistant teachers must be 18 years or older and have satisfactorily completed one non-credit department approved course in early childhood or be able to complete that training within 6 months of hire, or be 18 years old and have satisfactorily completed one course for credit in early childhood development or be enrolled within 6 months of hire. Compensation is based on education and experience.
