Child Enrichment Center Employment Opportunities


The Milwaukee Rescue Mission Child Enrichment Center is seeking an experienced van driver. Drivers are responsible for transporting children to and from the day care, maintaining a clean vehicle, communicating effectively with staff and parents and maintaining transportation schedules and records.  Drivers work a split shift with approximate hours of 6:30 am-12:00 pm and 2:30pm-5:15 pm.  Drivers must be 21 or older, with at least one year of driving experience and hold a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.  Drivers must be able to pass the motor vehicle record check conducted by the Milwaukee Rescue Mission as well as a criminal background check.  Compensation is based on experience.

The Milwaukee Rescue Mission Child Enrichment Center is seeking dedicated, flexible and enthusiastic teachers to join our team. The Milwaukee Rescue Mission Child Enrichment Center opened at 1530 W. Center Street in September, 2015. We are growing and seeking qualified, Christian candidates to join our team. Teachers are responsible for planning and implementing lesson plans, caring for children, maintaining a clean and safe classroom, progress monitoring, state and center required documentation and communication with parents. Candidates must have a level 9 or higher registry certificate, be qualified per certificate to be a lead teacher, and have a minimum of 6 months experience as a lead teacher. The Milwaukee Rescue Mission is a Christian organization seeking Christians that meet our employment qualifications.  A full benefit package is offered with this position.

The Milwaukee Rescue Mission Child Enrichment Center has part-time positions available (roughly 6:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. daily and 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.).  Assistant teachers are responsible for assisting the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans, classroom management, maintaining an orderly classroom and communicating with parents and children.  Applicants must be 18 years or older and have satisfactorily completed Introduction to the Child Care Profession or another DCF approved course in early childhood education.  Experience in child care is preferred.  Compensation is based on education and experience.
