The Milwaukee Rescue Mission is hiring a Thank You Call Assistant in the Advancement Department.  This is a 10-20 hour flexible part-time onsite job, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm.  Starting salary is $10/hr.  Responsibilities include calling donors to thank them for their donations and recording call notes in database. Candidates must be comfortable making calls, using computers and typical office and database software.  High School Diploma, GED or higher education and past experience in an administrative role is preferred.


MRM is looking for an individual to manage payroll process and administration.  This position is responsible for paying employees and compiling payroll information by managing payroll preparation, completing payroll reports and maintaining payroll records. Provide administrative support for the HR department, assisting with the benefit enrollment, and entering employment records into our HR database. Support the daily HR activities and assist in coordinating HR policies, processes and relevant documents.

Responsibilities include processing of accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll with the use of an automated system, responsible for compiling and updating employee data changes, handling of garnishments, calculating Pastoral Allowances and FICA bonus, tracking of Health Savings Account contributions, monitor health club membership reimbursements, assign timecards to non-exempt staff and review, monitor and update paid time off information.  Handles and organizes year end W-2 and 1095-C distribution.  Partners with Data Processing Manager to coordinate employee campaign contributions and staff summary.  Works with ESR representative on update of 1095-C details. Provides support to MRM staff requesting payroll information, provide bi-weekly, quarterly and annual payroll reports to Controller.  Process all 401k contributions bi-weekly, generate 5500 census, assist in 401k audit information.  Process all staff benefit enrollments.  Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR Manager.  Assist with coordination of HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc.).  Assist with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rule and regulations.  Other duties as assigned - Full-time salaried position Monday – Friday (8-4:00)

An Associate’s degree or greater in HR related coursework is preferred.  Minimum of two years of job related experience in payroll processing.  Knowledge of working with automated payroll system required.  Experience with Paychex payroll system preferred.  SHRM or any other HR Certifications a plus.
